Find a ceramic pizza disc that fits this stove. Place it on the bars above the burner. It will provide a heat sink and improve efficiency. Plus you can cook your pizza or biscuits on it.

You do NOT use white teflon tape for propane! You use YELLOW tape which is made for gas. WHITE teflon is made for water. Yellow teflon tape is available from Amazon or Home Depot....... or any hardware store (probably). Yellow teflon tape is sometimes called GAS TAPE!
